Pre-Listing Verification: Before sellers list items for sale, the HaloSkins platform interfaces with the Steam API to verify the seller's ownership of the item. This ensures all transactions are based on genuine, shippable items.
Extensive Inventory: All items feature official images, styles, and descriptions sourced directly from the Steam Marketplace, accessible via the Steam Community Market. Our search functionality allows you to find the exact item you're looking
for.
Inventory Check: HaloSkins automatically monitors listed items and removes those that have been delisted or are no longer in the seller's inventory. This guarantees buyers receive items that can be shipped within 12 hours of payment.
Logistics Process:
Buyer Payment: The buyer pays upfront. Funds are securely held by the platform to ensure transaction integrity.
Seller Shipment: Upon payment notification, sellers are prompted to send a trade offer, effectively confirming the sale. Sellers must then perform a secondary confirmation via Steam Mobile Authenticator for transaction security. Sellers have
up to 12 hours to ship; orders exceeding this timeframe are canceled.
Buyer Confirmation: Buyers accept the trade offer and inspect the item's unique wear value to ensure it matches their original selection. Buyer has up to 24 hours to accept the item. Orders exceeding this timeframe will be canceled.
Transaction Completion: Upon confirmation, the transaction is finalized. The seller's funds are locked for seven days. After this period, the order can't be reversed, and the seller receives the sale proceeds.
Transaction Quote is the Final Price: The ‘Transaction Quote’ represents the final negotiated price and is typically non-negotiable. While some platforms may offer bargaining features, these only affect the sale price and do not alter the transaction process.
